I got my new webserver motherboard. There’s a story there. I’m saving it for later in the week.
The board doesn’t work. I power it on, and it shuts itself off after 2-3 seconds. The power supply works with a different board. So for the first time in my life, I’m contacting Asus technical support, because I can’t figure out if it’s something I did, or just a DOA board. So there’s going to be a story with that, too. Let’s hope for a happy ending.

Dave-
Love your posts. Can’t say I’m too excited about the new “sociables” tool bar that pops up over the text about the time I get halfway through the second sentence. Is there some place less inconvenient it could go? Who knows, I might even see what it’s about and use it then. Thanks.
Paul
I disabled the Sociable skyscraper. That must have been a new option when the plugin updated (earlier this week I think), and I hadn’t noticed it yet. Hopefully that makes it more convenient.
Paul, there’s a little tab on the left of the big bar. Tap it to toggle the presence of that blocking bar. I had the same problem as you do, when reading on my phone. The desktop has sufficient real estate so the bar doesn’t block the content.
