That’s why when Firefox came out, I was one of the first to use it and promote it, because I knew it was important for it to exist. We never dreamed of Google launching a browser.

It’s incredible how the world has changed in the meantime. Even with the same engine, browsers based on Chrome can present different results and performance. I don’t know if Firefox will last much longer using an engine that basically only it uses.

In other words, if Google ever goes bankrupt, the engine will continue forever, and several browsers have taken the engine and made their own browsers. I even use Brave, but I can’t like Chrome.

Firefox is unfortunately alone. I remember that in the 2000s I completely abandoned IE to use it, and for me the tabs were the best thing that existed. In 2008 I used Chrome, but I still found its minimalism strange, despite it being beautiful and having several themes at the time, I preferred Firefox.

I started using Chrome more in 2013 onwards, but my main browser is Brave.
