On Windows (which I have to use at work most of the time) Mozilla’s the best browser out there (K-Meleon doesn’t stay up to date) and the Windows version allows you to just install the browser and leave mail, news, chat, HTML editing, and the Bass-o-matic no one wants behind.

The other thing I noticed about this version is that the drop-down history sorts by visited date now, rather than alphabetically, so when I start typing linuxtoday.com, sites like linuxtoday.com, linuxworld.com, etc. pop up near the top, and the time I mistyped “linuxt” and hit enter is buried. Very nice usability improvement. 🙂

I don’t want an email/news/chat/vegomatic client in my browser, I just want to browse the web fast.
