My point there was that there is useful software that doesn’t take a lot of memory or disk space.

I don’t think Coolplayer does anything with external codecs. I’m pretty sure it’s just a straight MP3 player, which is why it’s tiny. And that was all I wanted. Tinyapps isn’t the place to look for full-featured stuff. Just small, single-purpose stuff. Simple programs for simple needs.

Because all too often, the codecs needed to play this or that file format can only be had by installing the full suite of bloatware from Realnetworks or Apple or MS. Unless there’s a place that distributes just the naked codecs that I don’t know about.
