The most evil of evil software companies, SCO, has finally made good on its threats to sue a big Linux user, filing harrassing lawsuits against AutoZone and DaimlerChrysler.
Of course, SCO has yet to prove it even owns the copyrights it claims it owns, not to mention it voided any claims it might have by distributing Linux under the GPL. But that doesn’t seem to stop them from filing frivolous lawsuits.
The enemy of your enemy is your friend. Support freedom by shopping at AutoZone, or if you don’t have an AutoZone, buy anything Mopar that happens to fit your car, such as spark plugs and oil filters.

I read somewhere the SCO lawyers have taken a piece of the conpany. This may explain the rush to suit. I would think they would win one before they alienate everyone. They are weakening their case by attacking companies with deep pockets.
I believe they started something they can’t exit. SCO’s management has no where to go.
I completely agree… they started in motion something that will end with a lot of hard working people losing their jobs at SCO while the big wigs loot the company with huge bonuses these last few years because they know they have no chance to win and stay afloat.
I probably ought to elaborate on this a little bit more, but I think the lawyers and the executives are dumping stock, and if the company still has any value by the time they’re done unloading shares, I think they’ll start shorting it. They’re running the company into the ground and trying to make as much as they can in the process. I think McBride and Stowell may actually believe some of the things they’re saying now, but I’d be shocked if they think they’re actually going to win all of these cases.
Personally I think that McBride and his cohorts think that there are a lot of gullible people. Even more than that I think that they don’t just believe, but know that Microsoft has a lot of money…as evidenced here.
