I’m certainly not anti-business, but I share your belief that large and powerful organizations of all types will often abuse their power if they are allowed to get away with it.

For I’ve seen large corporations sue a few homeowners who wanted to oppose their use of land which would adversely affect the homeowners’ neighborhood. So the company just sued them homeowners to force them to drop their attempts at opposition, knowing that they didn’t have the deep pockets needed to hire their own legal team.

It appears that the real owner of Katie.com has some indication that Penguin Puttnam will do the right thing now. No doubt the adverse publicity has had some effect.
