I’m taking a couple of days off.

I’m taking a couple of days off. I’m overwhelmed. I very nearly forgot my sister’s birthday. I’ve made about $130 worth of mistakes in the past week. Due mostly to neglect, my apartment resembles the inside of the Cotton Belt Route freight depot, which has been a bonanza for vagrants for the past 20 years so you can imagine what that’s like.
I can’t afford to go on like this. Not financially. Not emotionally.

So I’m going to catch up. I’ll be back Tuesday. Maybe Wednesday.

If you’ve e-mailed me and I don’t respond, don’t take it personally. There are only 129 unread messages in my inbox. Buried in that mess, I know there are dozens of others I should respond to but haven’t.

If you found this post informative or helpful, please share it!

Good luck getting caught up. I know how frustrating that can be (especially right now since I’m in the middle of moving).

I’ll try to have a surprise or two in your inbox my Wednesday. 🙂

By the way, I agree with Dave T. on the message board bit. There’s too many other places out there with the same content. I don’t see a reason to add it to yours, too. The forums were a great idea, but don’t try to over do it.

Don’t worry Dave, I’ll cover ya in the future. I’ll always remind ya, seeing as your sister will be my future wife…though if I forget, I’ll be in big trouble! 🙂 Like Dudley said.

Take the time to smell the roses, so the speak, while your off, Dave.

In the short time that I’ve been tuning into your website, I’ve seen how dedicated you are to the opinions and concerns of your readers, both as a person and an author/computer professional.

You do a great job, so just take all the time off you need to recuperate and don’t worry about your audience, because we’ll still be here for you.
