VMware also has some 30 day trials and betas occasionally. I’m not sure how it compares to virtual pc, but virtual is now dropping in price and sort of affordable for home use. There’s always Bochs too, which i haven’t used, i hear it’s kind of slower. Plex86 was a neat project (dead though i think) that was more of virtualization than Boch’s emulation. Would have run fast and been free …
