I never do a “formal” outline, but sometimes when ideas are coming to me faster than I can put them down I’ll write down one line “reminders,” and then go back to flesh them out into paragraphs or pages.

The only two things that will make you a better writer is writing more and reading more. Having someone imposing their writing rules on you is like standing over someone and yelling at them while they perform brain surgery; surely it will not improve the situation at hand.

That and more. I guess in 20 years, or whenever all other parties are retired, I can tell the rest of the story. I’ll need to do that, because there’s way too much drama in it for the 9 PM time slot.
