Well, that’s another can of worms. Keeping it IT, some kind of web site would be necessary to support a single-payer system. Probably the site would be simpler, but it’s a roll of the dice whether that project would have gone better.

Thank you for the explanation.
I guess the luddites that wanted a single payer system were right. We could have saved a billion dollars, on a website, by simply letting the taxpayer foot the bill for health care.
