I went to a clients site to work with an older and more experienced techo. I had my third best suit on, he was in jeans and a t-shirt. In the status meeting after a install all the managers questions were directed to me (it was a manager from HIS company). Very embarrassing.

If you’re going to pick up some Third Day, you might as well start with "Time"; that will set the pace.

For ‘edgy’, try anything by "Everybody Duck". Also on the old guy’s turntable (metaphorically speaking):

"Sonic Praise", by Sonic Flood

"Eterne", a compiliation

"Shine; the hits", Newsboys

The NU Nation Project", Kirk Franklin

"Act the Scat", Denver and the Mile High Orchestra

Yeah, eclectic is a good word,

I think you might Skillet too (I’ve got one of their CDs at work in my CD drive).
