Wow! A very Happy Birthday to you 🙂 *hugs*
Heh.
Happy Birthday, Dave! Here’s the prayer we recite every Sunday at our church for that week’s birthdays. Anyone attending with a birthday that week comes up to the front and stands around the altar:
Watch over your children Oh Lord, as their days increase. Bless and guide them wherever they may be. Strengthen where they stand, comfort them when discouraged or sorrowful, raise them up if they fall and in their hearts may Your peace which passes understanding, guide them all the days of their lives. In Christ’s name we pray, Amen.
I’ll say one for you, too 🙂
happyhappyburfday Dave, happyhappyburfday!
[imagine me singing and dancing in this Vaudevillian tap kind of routine. i’m wearing fishnets and a black leotard with a large pink magnolia tucked behind the ear.]
“i am your singing telegram….”

Are you aware that your birthday is the same as the anniversary of the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception being official in the Catholic Church?
Sorry, I think people just expect me to say things like that these days. Hope you had a good birthday, sorry I missed your party but you know how that goes.
Hann á afmæli í dag
Hann á afmæli í dag

Congratulations! Are you getting yourself something nice for the occasion?
