I think it’s great that big companies are scared when this happens. In the Pentium generation, Intel decided to block clones, and then they found themselves with the competition being able to do something from scratch and even better.
No one believed that this could happen, to face the all-powerful intel, I remember that during the early 2000s we had a flood of AMD processors on the market, especially after Duron, it was something unprecedented, From then on we saw the fall of Intel as sovereign, always with ups and downs, always with AMD on its side
